Garlic Butter Steak Tips with Cheesy Rigatoni is a delicious and comforting meal that combines tender steak tips, rich garlic butter, and creamy cheesy rigatoni, creating a delightful harmony of flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 lb steak tips, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the rigatoni pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak tips with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Sear in batches for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, add 2 tablespoons of butter, and melt. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream, add Italian seasoning, and stir. Bring to a gentle simmer, then mix in mozzarella and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  5. Return the cooked rigatoni and seared steak tips to the skillet. Drizzle with remaining butter and toss to combine.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Choose high-quality steak tips for better flavor.
  • Aim for medium-rare to medium doneness for the steak.
  • Keep the heat low when making the cream sauce to avoid curdling.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
